I spend 18 Hours per day. I still don’t make any Money from my blog.

Seeing all the success stories I’m being sold on by almost all internet marketing gurus out there. I really thought I could quit my day job and make thousands of dollars starting my own blog.

A few months ago. A friend of mine sent me a link to his blog about some random celebrity blog. I told him he’s got a ton of time in his hand. He told me that he makes good money doing it. He means the Celebrity blog.

I asked him how? He told me that if I click on the link that is sponsored by Google, he earns money each time I click. WOW! REALLY! I said.

That’s when I started thinking I have to quit my lousy day job and start my own website just like my buddy.

I started doing research about many ways to monetize my site. I tried CPA, selling products as affiliates, and Google adsense,

When I got started with CPA, I saw a huge potential to make money there. It so easy that anyone can do it. All people have to do is put their email address and I make buck each. Here’s a sample of how I earned money with CPA.

But the biggest problem is, People wont put in their email on those CPA offers. Have yo ever seen weigh loss and get afree laptop offers? These CPA offers are commonly known to people as spams. So it was hard for me to get any consistent success there.

Then I tried selling products as an Affiliate. Again, huge potential amount of money to be made there. For instance you can sell Keyword Elite for $197 and make 75% commission, you’re gold. Just go to Clickbank Marketplace and look at all the list of products they sell.

This is when I started thinking I’m going to be rich and go on vacation and potentially do run my online business anywhere in the world.

So I exhaustingly marketed the damn products to every soul I know and I’ve gotten Zero Sale. WTF right!

I could have worked in Mac Donald’s flipping burgers and would have made earned me thousands of dollars for the same hours I spend getting Zero sale.

I was like, what is wrong here? I had to figure out what I did wrong.

Then I realized, people do not like to be sold on. People like options and when you do that, they’ll buy.

So I decided to make a reviews on products embedded the affiliate code in the link.  Next thing you know, in literally one hour, I made a sale and earned $65. YES!

I also realized that Adsense makes me terrible money. The ads are very intrusive as it fills up my page. So I stopped using them. I guess I’ll wait until I have huge traffic on my site to take advantage of adsense.
