Here’s a step by step of how to set-up your blog with custom domain name and email subscription form. You’ll have a working professional website in no time and in just 4 easy steps.

1. Register a domain name.

You should use register.com because it’s easy to point your domain name to your blog. You can do it yourself in the domain’s control panel. Most companies require you to call the tech support to do this.

Remember. You don’t need to buy any hosting. Just buy the domain name. The blog service is the one you’ll be using to host your content.

2. Sign up for a Blog.

Either WordPress or Squarespace. Both are superior in their own way. WordPress is free and has tremendous amount of resources for customization. But to make your blog look professional, you will have to pay for a template and learn PHP, CSS, HTML language to customize the layout.
